Our Philosophy

Your wedding day is a celebration of your love that extends well beyond the day you say "I do". Your day is about sharing moments with each other, with beloved family and friends, and creating memories that fill your heart with joy for your future. Our role in your day is to help you create heirlooms that authentically and artfully capture your relationship to one day share with your own family and to pass down through generations. Your day deserves to be documented intentionally from start to finish!

We might be a good fit for each other if...

YOU LOVE romantic and timeless moments, both candid and curated

Few things make a wedding day more special to us than working with a couple that is radiating joy, and excited to create moments that reflect real emotions. We aim to make you comfortable throughout your day to ensure we document your most candid, raw feelings, as well as create some of our iconic images with light, shadows, movement, and moments.

you love the details and aesthetics of a refined wedding day

Wedding days are made of details. From the gifted embroidered handkerchief from your grandmother, to your new husbands engraved cufflinks, each item tells the story of different parts of the day you may or may not get to experience first hand. We want you to have images that allow you relive each and every detail for years to come.

Our Creative Process

We aspire to create wedding and engagement images that are authentically you while simultaneously intentional and editorial. We work with our couples throughout the planning process and engagement session, which is included, to help curate their portrait and detail lists and feel the most comfortable in front of the camera by your wedding day.

FAQ

Where have our cameras taken us for photos?

We've had many amazing opportunities to photograph across the country! Most often you will find us in Atlanta, Savannah, Greenville, Hilton Head, or Asheville, but we've loved our opportunities to travel West as well! We're always excited about an adventure, whether for a session or a wedding.

How many photographers do we include?

We're a husband and wife team and always have us both included. Sometimes, we even bring an assistant along to help! We also have access specialized partners including drone photography.

Why do we prefer working with clients with a planner?

Planners are so very important to the flow of your day, and your guest experience. Everything moves so quickly and a thoughtful planner makes a huge difference in your ability to enjoy your wedding day. The more you enjoy your day, the more natural you will feel taking photos during your day. We have a number of lovely planners if you're needing recommendations!

What types of cameras do we use?

We shoot a combination of cameras for very specific reasons. I (Megan) prefer my Nikon for the crisp, clean images expected throughout your wedding day. Parker prefers his Fuji Film for his iconic and dreamy portraits and candid images throughout the day. Both provide a cohesive set of final images with a variety of perspective.

We also love to incorporate film. We use Parker's grandfathers 1960's heirloom Minolta with our favorite PRO400H Fuji Film.

Why do we do à la carte prints and albums?

Photo prints and albums are so extremely personal. From the paper preference to the binding and cover material, we want you to have the kind of heirloom that lasts and makes your heart sing every time you look back. Because of this, we work one-on-one with our couples once they have their full wedding album to choose the best way to display their images within their home.
